An example of services provided to HA Interiors was planning and managing the upgrade of their Network Domain from NT to MS Windows Server 2003. The tasks we carried out were:

 

• Build, Supply & Configure New HP DL380 Rack-Mount server
• Setup Windows & Configure 2003 on New Hardware
• Prepare Domain for 2003
• Remove Existing Secondary DC from Domain
• Join New 2003 Server to Domain
• Adjust Security of Domain to allow 2003 and NT to Run simultaneously
• Remove Primary DC from Domain
• Transfer Pure Message mail scanning application & VPN management to new PDC
• Install, configure and test backup hardware & software
• Install Windows 2003 Server onto old Primary DC and then install as new secondary DC

The client was exceptionally happy with the way we managed and deployed the upgrade with minimal disruption, and we continue to actively support HA Interiors and their ICT infrastructure.
