
Prior to setting up the company our Managing Director spent 15 years managing a local engineering group, the last five of these as a board member.
During this time he was responsible for the management and development of the company’s increasingly complex ICT systems and came face to face with the variety of everyday issues and needs that such systems create. Because of this involvement he spent time working alongside several external IT providers and consultants and became increasingly frustrated by the lack of objectivity and biased opinions provided by some of the partners used.
With the realisation of this in depth knowledge of systems, policies and procedures required by SME"s both from a business management perspective as well as an IT efficiency point of view, Synthesis IT Ltd was created in 2003 with a brief to offer truly objective, independent and accurate IT advice and support for the business community. Building upon this cornerstone philosophy, the company grew rapidly through word of mouth and recommendations.

Since its inception six years ago, Synthesis IT Ltd has gone from strength to strength, with an increasing customer base, and a growing amount of experience in a variety of differing market sectors, covering areas as diverse as engineering, logisics, manufacturing, health care, child care and charities.
Across all of the departments within the business, our staff are both highly qualified and experienced in their relevant professional fields. It is this combination of technical skills, knowledge and real-life business acumen that establishes the trust needed from our clients.
We have built our business on our reputation and we're very proud that our customer retention rate has remained at a consistent 100% over the last six years.
When the company began, we deliberately started from premises much larger than we needed so that we had room to grow without distraction. We have an exciting time ahead in the coming months, in that we've now outgrown those premises and so will be moving into new space as soon as we can.
We plan to enhance our relationships with existing customers and suppliers, as well as creating new relationships through word of mouth, networking and relevant marketing opportunities.
Synthesis IT has a solid foundation on which we can continue to grow, allowing us to enjoy continued success whilst maintaining the excellent standards of customer service we delight in providing to our clients.
Most importantly, continuously running through the core of the company will be its main aim and philosophy of providing customers with honest, objective and accurate IT advice.
